One of the...unintended habits Emmett has picked up from us is mimicking cell phone use. We don't plan it, and don't particularly want it to happen, but there it is. What at least makes the
habit tolerable is that Emmett doesn't use a cell phone when making his "calls", but will grab the nearest approximation, in this case a cd player's remote control.
